François Goube is a French entrepreneur and technology leader with almost 20 years of experience in the digital marketing and SEO industry. Although Francois is primarily known for founding Oncrawl, a technical SEO platform that helps businesses optimize their websites for search engines, he has been involved in many startups and founded several companies including JobiJoba.com. His entrepreneurial philosophy has remained consistent over the years: democratize the use of technology to empower people.
Francois has been recognized as an expert in search engine optimization and has spoken at numerous industry conferences. He is also known for his thought leadership in the SEO space, publishing articles and research about technical SEO practices and search engine algorithms. His work has focused on helping businesses leverage data science and machine learning to improve their online visibility.
Additionally, Francois has been dedicated to investing as a Business Angel in start-ups and causes in which he believes. He also runs a very early stage fund called Mimbeau.Capital.
As founder and CEO of Oncrawl, he has guided the company’s growth as it developed into the most awarded SEO software and technical SEO analysis tool in the industry. Oncrawl was acquired by Brightedge in 2022 to build the most complete SEO platform.

“Rebuilding the SEO stack: From crawl budget to AI-assisted decision making”
This talk explores how AI Overviews and AI-powered search engines like ChatGPT are fundamentally changing the SEO landscape, and why traditional metrics no longer capture the full picture. It makes the case for server log analysis as the go-to method for understanding how AI crawlers interact with your site, and walks through practical techniques for reverse-engineering what ChatGPT considers “relevant” content. The key takeaway is that technical SEO fundamentals still matter, but the tools and strategies need to evolve to match a new search reality.
