1. Introduction
This document outlines the Terms and Conditions (the “Agreement”) that govern your purchase of tickets and participation in Athens SEO (the “Event”). By purchasing a ticket to and/or attending the Event, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. The Event includes both on-site and virtual elements, which are equally subject to these Terms and Conditions.
2. Definitions
- “Event” refers to Athens SEO, taking place on May 24th, 2025, in Athens, Greece.
- “Organizer” refers to the Event and its founders, event managers, and representatives.
- “Attendee” refers to any individual who has purchased a ticket to the Event.
- “Virtual Attendee” refers to any individual participating in the Event through online streaming or remote platforms.
- “Website” refers to the official Event website.
- “Platform” refers to any digital service used to broadcast or facilitate online access to the Event.
3. Ticket Purchases and Attendance
3.1 Ticket Rates and Promotions
- Ticket prices may vary based on access type (on-site or virtual), promotional offers, or time of purchase.
- The Organizer reserves the right to adjust ticket pricing at any time without prior notice.
- Promotional discounts or special offers are valid only during the published period and cannot be applied retroactively to previously purchased tickets.
3.2 Ticket Sales and Third-Party Ticketing System
- Tickets for the Event are sold through More.com (the “Ticketing Provider”). The Organizer facilitates ticket sales through More.com but does not control or process transactions directly.
- By purchasing a ticket, you agree to both these Terms and Conditions and any additional terms imposed by More.com.
- The Organizer is not responsible for any technical issues, service interruptions, or payment processing errors that may occur on More.com’s platform.
- Your personal and payment information will be collected and processed by More.com according to their privacy policy, which we encourage you to review before completing your purchase.
- While the Organizer has selected More.com as a reputable Ticketing Provider, we cannot guarantee the security of data transmitted through their system.
- Any disputes regarding payment processing should first be addressed with More.com according to their support procedures. For unresolved issues, you may contact the Organizer at [email protected].
3.3 Refund Policy
- ALL TICKET SALES ARE FINAL. NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED.
- In the event you cannot attend, you may transfer your ticket to another person by notifying the Organizer at least 14 days before the Event with the new attendee’s full details (name, email, job title, company).
- The Organizer reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the Event due to unforeseen circumstances. In case of cancellation, the Organizer will offer alternative attendance options such as virtual participation or attendance at a rescheduled event.
3.4 Event Access
- Admission to the Event requires presentation of a valid ticket.
- The Organizer reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any Attendee who behaves in a disruptive or inappropriate manner.
- The Organizer is not responsible for any loss or damage to personal items during the Event.
- The Organizer will make reasonable efforts to accommodate attendees with disabilities. Please contact us at [email protected] at least 14 days before the Event with specific requests.
- Virtual access credentials will be sent by email prior to the Event. These credentials are non-transferable and must not be shared.
- The Organizer is not responsible for internet connectivity issues or device compatibility on the part of the Virtual Attendee.
4. Code of Conduct
- Attendees must treat others with respect and refrain from harassment, discrimination, and disruptive behavior.
- Any form of bullying, hate speech, or inappropriate conduct will not be tolerated. This Code of Conduct applies to both in-person and virtual aspects of the Event, including online forums and chat functions.
- Attendees may not engage in solicitation, unauthorized promotions, or disruptive sales activities at the Event or within its digital platforms without prior written approval from the Organizer.
- Violation of the code of conduct may result in immediate removal from the Event without refund.
5. Photography, Recording, and Content Usage
5.1 Organizer Content Usage
- By attending the Event, you consent to being photographed, filmed, and recorded by the Organizer, and you grant the Organizer permission to use your image, voice, and likeness in photographs, videos, and recordings for promotional, educational, and archival purposes in any media now known or hereafter developed.
- If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, you must inform the Organizer in writing at least 14 days before the Event and identify yourself to the photography team upon arrival.
5.2 Attendee Content Usage
- Attendees may take photographs and recordings for personal use only. Personal use does not include brand promotion or professional marketing.
- Attendees must obtain explicit consent from speakers and other attendees before photographing or recording them.
- Commercial use of any content captured at the Event is strictly prohibited without written permission from the Organizer and any individuals featured in such content.
- Screenshots or recordings of the virtual event interface or other attendees are subject to the same restrictions as in-person content.
6. Web Streaming
- Portions of the Event may be live-streamed or recorded for later viewing. Access to content may be restricted to registered ticket holders.
- By attending the Event, you acknowledge and consent to potentially appearing in these streams or recordings.
- Unauthorized recording or redistribution of the stream is strictly prohibited.
7. Intellectual Property
- All content presented at the Event, including but not limited to presentations, materials, and branding, is protected by copyright law and remains the property of its respective owners.
- Attendees may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works based on this content without explicit permission from the copyright holder.
- The Athens SEO name, logo, and branding may not be used without written permission from the Organizer.
8. Liability and Insurance
- The Organizer shall not be liable for any loss, injury, or damage to person or property, regardless of cause, except in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct.
- The Organizer is not responsible for the actions, omissions, or service quality of any third-party providers, including but not limited to the Ticketing Provider, accommodation partners, or travel services.
- Attendees are responsible for their own insurance coverage for personal accidents, medical expenses, and property damage or loss.
- The Organizer will make reasonable efforts to ensure availability of the virtual platform but does not guarantee uninterrupted access.
- The Organizer’s maximum liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the Attendee for the Event ticket.
- The Organizer is not responsible for the views, advice, or content presented by speakers, sponsors, partners, or other third-party contributors during the Event.
9. Privacy
- The Organizer will handle Attendees’ personal data in accordance with applicable Greek and EU data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
- By purchasing a ticket, you consent to the Organizer collecting and processing your personal data for purposes related to organizing and promoting the Event.
- Personal data will be retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes of the Event or as required by law.
- Virtual attendees’ participation (e.g., chat messages, Q&A contributions) may be recorded or monitored as part of the Event experience.
- Your data may be shared with Event sponsors with your explicit consent only.

- The Organizer reserves the right to amend these terms at any time.
- Attendees will be notified of significant changes via email or through the Website.
- Continued participation in the Event after changes have been made constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

13. Law and Jurisdiction
- These Terms and Conditions and the relationship between you and the Organizer shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Greece.
- Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Athens, Greece.
